Interviewer instructions
If 'No', probe by reading "An attack can happen at home or any place outside of the home, such as in other homes, in the street, at school, on public transport, public restaurants, or at your workplace."
Include only incidents in which the respondent was personally the victim and exclude incidents experienced only by other members of the household. Exclude incidents where the intention was to take something from the respondent, which should be recorded under VT1.
A physical attack includes hitting, slapping, pushing, tripping, knocking down, being shot; stabbed or cut; hit by an object; hit by a thrown object; poisoning or other applications of force with the potential to cause bodily injury or harm.
