Description |
The GSHS is a school-based survey conducted primarily among students aged 13 – 15 years. It includes modules which measure the main health behaviours and protective factors among students related to the leading causes of morbidity and mortality among youth and adults worldwide. The core modules include alcohol use, drug use, dietary behaviours, hygiene, mental health, physical activity, protective factors, HIV infection and other STI infection, unwanted pregnancy, tobacco use and violence and intended injury. Tonga has only chosen HIV infection on the GSHS excluding Sexual Behaviour, STI infection and unwanted pregnancy as advising from the Education Department. |
